  • Hiring Freezes/Layoffs

  • Inflation

    • Gas isn’t coming down

    • Go look at your childhood home on Zillow…most likely it’s up 2x 🤯

  • Great Resignation (will slow down, but continue amongst high performers).

2. What can you do?

The work doesn’t stop. Your goals don’t go away. You just have less resources.

  1. Prioritize

    • What do you NEED to be working on

      • Your goals won’t stop.

  2. Digitize

    • “Necessity is the mother of invention”

    • Covid was your warm up. You NEED to digitally adapt your workflow and talent acquisition.

      • How to digitize your workflow:

        • Default from in office to remote

        • Default from working hours to a-sync collaboration

        • Default from talking to writing/documenting

      • How to digitize your talent acquisition:

        • Default from full time employees to contractors

        • Default from resume’s to outcomes

  3. Ship Fast, Fail Small, Iterate Together

    • Agility is a cute buzz word to help enterprises learn what makes startups successful. Instead of reading the Lean Startup, use this strategic framework to navigate your 30/60/90:

    • Ship Fast - instead of taking months, what can you do to complete outcomes in under 2 weeks?

    • Fail Small - experiment cheap

    • Iterate Together - Tasks and projects change, but NOT keep the team together, both full time team members and freelancers.
